Vice President Daniel Shepherd is responsible at a P&L level for Frost & Sullivan’s ICT Practice in Europe, Israel and Africa.  He is ultimately accountable for all consulting, research and sales activities in the region.  Daniel also serves on the firm’s European Management Team and the Global Consulting Leadership Team.

Daniel’s professional experience spans 15 years, mostly as a management consultant. He has worked in over half a dozen different industries, including telecommunications, IT, retail, government, financial services (incl. banking, private equity and insurance), manufacturing and biotechnology.

Prior to joining Frost & Sullivan, Daniel worked in the Strategic Advisory Services Group at Capgemini, at edgecom (the management consulting arm of Ericsson) and Mercer Consulting Group.

Executive Director Ulla Hiekkanen is responsible for customer process in Tekes, the Finnish funding agency for technology and innovation, since March 2011. She joined Tekes in September 2008 being responsible for the development of customer service and customer relationship management.

Before joining Tekes in August 2008, she held the positions of Vice President Sales Development and AVP Strategic Customer Management in KONE Corporation. During her career she has held several positions in business process development, service business and marketing and has worked 10 years abroad, in UK, Belgium and Germany.

Ms. Hiekkanen received her M.Sc. degree in International Business and Marketing at Helsinki School of Economics in 1986.  She has also attended business and strategy programs at IMD, London Business School and Hanken&IFL. 

Vice President Bertrand Dupuis is Nokia’s Head of Ecosystem Developer Experience in Europe, responsible for the Services and Ecosystem activities.

Bertrand is a veteran of the mobile industry; he worked for 5 years in an international sales role for Sagem Mobile Phones before pioneering and running his own mobile Internet companies, Qualimucho and Novedia. Both firms focused on developing mobile services, as well as marketing and distributing mobile content.

After eight years as an entrepreneur, he joined Nokia.

Prof. Dr. Henrikki Tikkanen is professor of marketing and department chair of the marketing department of the Aalto University School of Economics. His key research areas industry and business model evolution, strategic marketing, and international project marketing. He is widely published in top-tier journals, e.g. in Strategic Management Journal, Long Range Planning, Journal of Management Studies, and Industrial & Corporate Change.

Ms Johanna Ikäheimo is strongly involved in development of business world in Finland at the top level. Besides her duties as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Lappset Group Ltd., (since 2006), she is engaged in several significant positions of trust.

Today she is a Board Member the Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company (2009 --), one of the biggest insurance companies in the country, she was also a member of the Board of  until the May of 2011 of the Regional Bank of Handelsbanken (2005 --2011) and. Since 2004, she also wasa Board Member in the Finnish Industry Investment Ltd until the March 2011., ( Vice Chairman as of 2006-2011).

Besides the board memberships, Ms Ikäheimo has influential positions in numerous Finnish organizations such as the Confederation of Finnish Industry and Employers, where she is a Member of the Election Committee and where she was Vice Chairman of its SME Council during 2005 and 2008. She has been a Member of the Finpro Supervisory Board since 2003, and chaired the board between 2005 and 2009. She currently a member of Anvisory Board of Kaleva Insurance company.

President Matti Salo  joined NAPA in October 1992. Before joining NAPA he worked as Research Scientist in the Ship Technology Research Centre in Finland. As first task in NAPA Matti started the new product line NAPA for Operations. During last 11 years Matti has worked as President of whole the NAPA Group. In the beginning of September 2011 Mr. Juha Heikinheimo was appointed as President of NAPA Group and Matti continues being in charge of NAPA for Operations business. 

   

Tero Kaukomaa studied business and marketing in the Helsinki School of Economics, from where he graduated 1987. Marketing and commercials drove him into world of cinema and 1997 Tero Kaukomaa established Blind Spot Pictures and has produced or co-produced more than 15 feature films including Finnish / Chinese kung-fu film “Jade Warrior” by AJ Annila, “Man`s Job” by Aleksi Salmenperä, “Dancer in the Dark” by Lars von Trier, Golden Globe nominee “Everlasting Moments” by Jan Troell and “Beyond” by Pernilla August.

Tero Kaukomaa believes in quality, thinks through marketing and wants to bring fresh content to the markets with creative methods. He is a member of ACE and the European Film Academy and has offices in Helsinki Finland and Zürich Switzerland. 

Currently Tero Kaukomaa is in post-production with “Iron Sky” by Timo Vuorensola and preparing a werewolf inversion “Human” by AJ Annila.
